The sensor arrangement comprises at least two redundant sensors (1,2) for the detection of a control- or measurement value of a process. The supervision arrangement includes a first subtractor (3) for providing a first difference (F1) between the sensor output signals, a first and a second differentiator (5,6) for a temporal derivation of the sensor output signals, a second subtractor (7) for producing a second difference (F2) between the differentiated sensor output signals, as well as an error analysis arrangement (4), with which the first and the second difference are respectively compared with a predetermined first and/or second threshold value, whereby an error message (FM) is produced, if at least one of the differences exceeds the concerned threshold value. An Independent claim is provided for a method for operating the sensor arrangement.
