The label magazine (16) has a magazine body (22) with a number of labels (100) behind each other in a set direction, and a number of label holders in the form of pressing fingers (25). The labels are taken out through an end aperture. The label grip sector of at least one of the label holders projects less than that of the other. The free length of the projecting sector is 0.7-1.3 mm.
