A bushing, having a connection section (2) with peripheral elastically deformable sliding catches (6), is new. A bushing has a connection section (2) which can be inserted into a wall opening and which comprises an elastic relief (3) and an outer peripheral sealing ring (4) for engaging the wall opening. Three or more catch regions (5) are distributed about the circumference of the connection section (2), each of which is formed as a layer structure of the relief and an elastically deformable sliding catch (6). The catch engages over a leading portion (3a) of the relief (3) and forms a sliding contact with the wall opening, the outer contour of the catch (6) projecting beyond the outer contour of the relief between the catch regions (5).
