A heat exchanger performs a heat exchange between the coolant on the high pressure side and a fluid producing hot water. An insulated tank (300) with inner (320) and outer (310) elements has an essentially air-free vol. between the elements. The hot water producing fluid and the heated coolant flow in opposite directions in the heat exchanger, whereby the water heated by the coolant on the high pressure side is stored in the tank.
