Firing rack, for firing inclined roof tile mouldings, has pairs of individual self-righting support fingers fitted on struts by foot portions which partially overlap in their length direction

A firing rack, comprising paired individual self-righting support fingers (4) having foot portions (4a) partially overlapping in their length direction, is new. A firing rack supports the backs of inclined roof tile mouldings by means of pairs of spaced-apart individual self-righting support fingers (4) releasably fitted on horizontal struts (3). Each support finger (4) has a forked foot portion (4a) which is fitted in a tilting resistant manner on a strut (3) and which has a standing support surface of greater dimension in the strut length direction than in the strut transverse direction. The support length in the strut length direction is -20% greater than the spacing between the supported faces of two successive tile mouldings (2) of a row. Adjacent support finger foot portion (4a) are nested with their standing support faces partially overlapping in the length direction.
