The device has a lubricating pump (21) between slide contact faces of a circulating roller element (8) and a pressure bearing (13) in a housing. The pump has a recess for holding the circulating element (22) which protrudes from the slide contact face into the recess. A slide plate defines a suction chamber and outlet chamber in the recess. As the roller element circulates so the circulating element moves in the recess which causes lubricant contained in the housing to be sucked in from a suction passage and supplied to the inside of a section with a round projection which holds a circulating bearing.
