The support isolator (2) is associated with a voltage test system and involves a high voltage capacitor (22) which is integrated into an insulating body (21) of the isolator and is connected to a connector socket (28) arranged at the side of a stem region (211) of the isolator. The connector socket has two poles connected to an inner electrode (222) of the capacitor and an earthing part (27).
