Overhead contact line for model railways consists of tension wire and contact wire with clamp spring ends held in holders

The overhead line consists of sections (10) of parallel tension wire (12) and contact wire (14) below. The overlapping ends (22,24) of the two wires form back-bent non-connected clamp springs, at relative distance to each other. The clamp springs of the contact wire face upwards, those of the tension wire face upwards or downwards. Each spring forms an eye (32,34) with insertion aperture (36). The clamp springs are held in tension wire holders and contact wire holders. Clamp holders for contact wire holders consist of insulating material, pref. plastic, and have a metal jacket.
