The filter includes an input conductor pattern (16(1)) formed on the outer or inner surface of a dielectric substrate. An electromagnetic signal is fed to the input conductor pattern. An output conductor pattern (16(2)) is formed on the substrate, interposed between the substrate and the input conductor pattern, and outputs a signal that contains part of the frequency band of the input signal. At least part of the input conductor pattern and/or the output conductor pattern extends in the thickness direction of the substrate. Independent claims are included for a method of manufacturing a distributed constant filter and a circuit substrate for the filter.
