The Christmas tree stand consists of a lockable ball-and-socket joint with an upper adapter which fastens it to the tree and a lower adapter which attaches it to a support. The upper adapter comprises a screw (1a) which is inserted into the trunk (8) of the tree and a lower portion (1b) connected to the ball (2). A lock (4, 5) fastens the joint to a support (6) which is attached to a pot (7) which allows the tree to be watered.
