The Electrical Position Regulator unit has a cursor (20) which can move around a circular resistive track (112). There are a number of discrete resistive areas (R1-R4) connected in parallel with the track. The resistive track and discrete resistances are formed by ink deposit on the substrate. The track and resistance areas are laser etched to separate one track from the other.
