Device consists of a translucent, semi-rigid tube of variable length and diameter corresponding to that of the aorta, designed to be rolled between the aorta and aortic pulmonary chamber. It is open at its base (1) and closed at the top (3). At the lower end a band encircles it and at is upper end has two openings (4,16). There is also another small opening (18) at the upper end. The assembly is held in place by a belt after insertion. A camera can be inserted through one of the opening to assist in testing the sealing of any valves in conjunction with a pressure transducer (20). Inserting water through the other opening (4) raises the pressure.
