The monument is sectional, made from thermoplastic or thermosetting components, and comprises: A hollow base (1); a fitted lid (2) with interlocking rims; and an optional upright component (3) which is fastened to the base. The hollow base can be filled with concrete or weighted with a concrete slab, while a smaller scale version can have a cavity designed to receive an urn with cremation ashes.
