Fibers occupy 2-20 vol%, their mean length being 0.8-1.8 mm, with those over 2 mm long forming up to 20 wt.% of the fibers. Those 3 mm or longer form no more than 5 wt.% of the total weight of fibers. Independent claims are also included for: (A) The method of making the molding by injection, from the mixture of granules A and B. (B) The manufacture of the granules themselves, by impregnating continuous glass fiber skein in a bath of molten matrix plastic, twisting the skein and cutting it to granules. Preferred Features: A glass-fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin granule, known as granule A, of otherwise similar material is 2-12 mm long, with aligned or twisted fibers of the same length, forms 20-60 vol%. L/D2 is 0.45 or more. L/D is 1.1-6. Granules comprise types A and B mixed, where B has no fiber content. Their weight ratio A to B, is in the range 0.08 to 3. In the method, A granules flow more readily than B granules.
