The ventilation system ensures a transverse air circulation between a first wall (1) provided with sealable air inlet hatches (6) and a second wall (2) fitted with extractor fans (3). The second wall is also provided with auxiliary air entry hatches (4) which are opened when the main hatches are closed. In this case both inlet and extraction air passes through the second wall.
