The extractor has a flexible transporting helix (6) with an inlet (61) and an outlet (62). The inlet is installed under the floor (3) of the silo (1) and the outlet is positioned above the despatch point (7). A reduction gearbox is installed under the floor of the silo. It has two outlet shafts. The first outlet shaft is arranged in the silo through its floor to engage with the scraper (5) and drive it in a rotational direction. The second outlet shaft is arranged at right angles to the first shaft and is connected to the head of the flexible transporting helix. A drive motor is connected to the reduction gearbox and the flexible transporting helix acts to push products from the inlet to the outlet.
