Torque spanner has operating arm (10) with driving parts (12, 16) and transducer (22) linked to electronic circuit of process to deliver data of applied torque. Transducer is capacitive transducer with two moving sections (22a, 22b). Spanner has elastic part (18) placed between operating arm and driving part. Moving sections are placed on either sides of strain area of elastic part and move relatively to each other when torque is applied.
