The device includes a transparent shank portion in which lights and batteries are provided. A flashlight head (21) is pivotally connected to the shank portion. A slidable sleeve (30) is mounted to the shank portion, with movement limited by the head and a flange. Three legs (40) are pivotally connected to the sleeve and three expanding rods (14) are pivotally connected between the legs and the shank portion. All the legs are covered in light reflecting material.
