The catch assembly comprises an arm assembly (2) that pivots about a notched cam (2b) and a spring loaded latch (4). The arm also includes a bumper (6) on its vertical section and toothed sections on its horizontal section. An end stop (9) is secured to the distal end of the horizontal arm section. This can be secured in different positions along the arm such that the distance between the end stop and the bumper is adjusted to suit the window, door or shutter assembly (V).
