The plastic slab (2) comprises male (10) and female (12) side parts for assembly to a similar slab. Ground support pegs (4) form corridors (6,8) which extend between two opposite edges of the slab and intersect along two slab dimensions. The assembly parts are arranged along each of the slab edges so that the junction zone of two adjacent slabs (2,2') form a continuous band (B). Each of the corridors emerge laterally through the assembly parts so as to communicate with a corresponding corridor of an adjacent slab.
