Friction lining made up of a reinforcing fibre, a friction modifier and a binder. The abrasive component of the friction lining consists of a material that is particularly non-fibrous but of the same nature as the fibrous materials of rock wool, slag wool and ceramics with alumina and silica as their main constituents. The fibrous materials are not contained in the friction lining.
