The trigger system for a three-barrelled gun consists of a single trigger (5) and a selector (6) which allows a selected barrel to be fired or the barrels to be fired in a desired order. A plate (4) is attached to the trigger and connects it to one or other of the tumblers (1, 2). This may be positioned by pins (7, 8) on the selector or by the percussion system.
