The hydro-static propulser for a marine vessel has a double flow with a secondary stage (2) for high speeds. In the first stage (1) a gas glow through a convergent-divergent nozzle causes a vacuum which accelerates the water at the inlet. The second stage flow causes a high pressure greater than that in the divergent section. This causes a greater acceleration of the flow.
