PURPOSE: To safely cope with high waves in works at high wave zone, by absorbing the slack of a hanging wire from a working craft at the time when a working machine is installed on the bottom of water. ;CONSTITUTION: A pair of fixed sheaves 6 guiding a wire 12 extended from a winch 11 to suspend a working machine 1 and a movable sheave 17 hooking the wire 12 between the fixed sheaves 16 are disposed on the support base 13 of a tower 14 erected on a craft 10. The movable sheave 17 is equipped so as to be transferable as far as a specified distance. A weight 19 is connected to the movable sheave 17 to absorb the slack of wire 12 by the movement of sheave 17 when the working machine 1 is installed on the bottom of water. When lifting up the working machine, the movement of the movable sheave 17 is regulated at a position near the fixed sheave 16 to give a specified tension to the wire 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
