PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition containing a resin component having a specific composition and long fibers, having excellent spreadability in a mold for melt compression molding, heat-deformation temperature characteristics and impact resistance and useful as a noise-proofing and vibration-proofing cover in an engine room, etc. ;CONSTITUTION: This resin composition is composed of (A) 40-90wt.% of a resin component having an equilibrium crystallization time of ≥300sec and consisting of (i) a polyamide resin and (ii) a modified crystalline polyolefin resin containing a modifying agent consisting of an unsaturated acid or its derivative and existing in a crystalline polyolefin base essentially in the form of grafting component and (B) 10-60wt.% (the sum of A and B is 100wt.%) of long fibers (preferably glass fibers) having an average fiber length of 5-100mm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
