PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a problem in which carbonic acid composition or metallic heat generating agent in the raw powder material are reacted with water to make granulation impossible, or a problem in which the function is deteriorated when water is added to the raw powder material in which carbonic acid composition and/or metallic heat generating agent are blended to manufacture granular mold powder for continuous casting through granulation and drying. ;SOLUTION: In the case of the atomizing granulation, water is added to the raw powder material to make the slurry, the slurry temperature is kept ≤30°C, and the hollow granular mold powder is manufactured through atomizing and drying. In the case of the mixed kneading, water is added to the raw powder material and kneaded, and the hollow granular mold powder is manufactured through the drying after the extrusion granulation, the stirring granulation, or the rolling granulation while or after the temperature is kept ≤40°C.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
