PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a molecular marker used when proliferating DNA fragment specific to rice blast resistance from a genome DNA extracted from rice individual and capable of judging presence of rice blast resistant gene by using specific oligonucleotides. ;SOLUTION: This molecular marker closely links to a rice blast-resistant gene represented by Pb-1(t) and identifies individual having rice blast resistance or sensibility. The molecular marker is used when DNA fragment specific to rice blast resistance is proliferated from a genome DNA extracted from rice individual in PCR reaction and the marker is a pair of two kinds of oligonucleotide (B1 primer) comprising base sequences of 5'-CCG GAA CAA TCT TCT GTC AC-3' and 5'-GCA GCT CAC TTT ATA TAA AGT-3'.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
