PURPOSE:To provide a lattice casting mold for a lead acid battery electrode wherein adhesion of an active material to a lattice unit is improved to obtain a plate excellent in mechanical strength, in the lattice unit prepared by using the lattice casting mold in which plasma flame spraying of ceramics as a mold releasing material is performed on surfaces of the casting mold. CONSTITUTION:In a lattice casting mold of performing plasma flame spraying of ceramics, having a fine grain size, onto surfaces of the lattice casting mold for a lead acid battery electrode, plasma flame spraying of ceramics, having a rough grain size, is further performed on the surface by a 5 to 80% coating factor. In this way, the lattice casting mold for the lead acid battery having an effect for improving adhesion of an active material to a lattice unit and mechanical strength of a plate is obtained.
