PURPOSE: To provide a method and device for predicting deterioration and damage to a structural member. ;CONSTITUTION: A service condition monitoring device 1, an inspection device 4 that inspects deterioration or damage condition, a service condition setting device 2 that, upon receiving service condition data of a structural member from the service condition monitoring device 1, sets service condition, a simulation device 10 that, based upon the service condition and previous inspection result of the structural member, models deterioration and damage of structural member to simulate progress of deterioration and damage of structural member, and an invert analysis device 8 that, by comparing the simulation model generated by the simulation device 10 with the current inspection result of structural member, corrects the simulation model, are provided.
