PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and certainly form the engagting space part of the pawl part of an insertion part when a insertion hole for a joint metal fitting insertion part is formed to the connection surface of a concrete structure. SOLUTION: An engaging space part forming material 4 constituted of various special materials or almost cap-shaped thin-walled form materials removable by a specific means is attached to the leading end part of an insertion hole forming form 5 as a form for forming an engaging space part 2a and the insertion hole forming form 5 is set to the inside of a form for forming a concrete structure 1 and concrete is cast into the form 6. After concrete 10 is cured, the insertion hole forming form 5 is extracted to form an insertion hole 2. When the engaging space part forming material 4 left in concrete is the thin- walled form material, it is held as it and, in the case of a special material, it is removed to form the engaging space part 2a to the leading end part of the insertion hole 2. Without using a special form, the insertion hole 2 having the engaging space part 2a is easily and certainly formed to the connection surface 1a of a concrete structure 1.
