PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture evaluating system and a guide lamp evaluating system capable of easily evaluating a luminance value or chromaticity. ;SOLUTION: A guide lamp 10 as an object to be measured is image picked-up by a CCD camera 1 being an image pickup means, and the distribution of luminance values and chromaticity is measured (a step 1). Then, the picture data measured in the step 1 are inputted to a personal computer 3 (a step 2). A picture which is almost equivalent to that of the display part of the guide lamp is displayed on the monitor screen of the personal computer 3 from the inputted picture data (a step 3). Only the picture data of the display part 11 being the object to be measured are extracted from the picture displayed in the step 3 (a step 4). The picture data corresponding to the object to be measured extracted in the step 4 are measured by using a measuring filter being an area for evaluation measurement (a step 5). The evaluation of the object to be measured extracted in the step 4 is performed from the measured data of the step 5 (a step 6). The integral judgment of the evaluated results in the step 6 is outputted (a step 7). Thus, it is possible to shorten a time, and to reduce labor by realizing the desired evaluation from the picture data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
