PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an illegally parked vehicle detection device capable of detecting an illegally parked vehicle concerned with an illegal parking prevention system at a low cost without depending on a place and a number plate and surely detecting illegal parking even when the number plate is illegally altered or the like. ;SOLUTION: The information of an on-vehicle IC tag 2 previously storing identification(ID) information inherent in a vehicle is read out by a question means 11. A 1st memory means M1 for storing the candidate information of illegal parking and a 2nd memory means M2 for storing the decision information of illegal parking are prepared.
