PURPOSE:To improve the adhesive force between a protection film and a concrete body and to prevent the permeation of rain water and sewage into the body by coating a cement body with a composition containing an unsaturated polyester and a specific dicyclopentadiene derivative, curing the composition, coating the cured product with a thermosetting resin and curing the resin. CONSTITUTION:A cement body is coated with a composition containing (A) an unsaturated polyester produced by the condensation reaction of an alpha, beta-unsaturated dibasic acid and/or its acid anhydride and a polyhydric alcohol and, as necessary, a polybasic acid and (B) a dicyclopentadiene derivative expressed by formula 1 and the coating layer is cured. A thermosetting resin composition is applied to the cured layer and/or laminated together with a reinforcing material to the layer and cured. In the formula 1, R1 is 2-12C alkylene glycol residue or a 4-12C oxaalkylene glycol residue having two or more =2C alkylene chains bonded with each other through at least one oxygen atom and R2 is hydrogen or methyl group.
