SEMICRYSTALLINE PROPYLENE POLYMER COMPOSITION WITH GOOD SUITABILITY FOR PRODUCING BIAXIALLY ORIENTED FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a propylene polymer composition having excellent processability to provide biaxially stretched films and capable of producing films with very good mechanical and optical characteristics at the same time. SOLUTION: This semicrystalline propylene polymer composition with good suitability for producing the biaxially oriented films and prepared by polymerizing propylene, ethylene and/or a 4 to 18C-1-alkene in which at least 50 mol% of monomer units arise from the polymerization of propylene. The semicrystalline propylene polymer composition is used for films, fibers or molded products. The films, fibers or molded products are made from the semicrystalline propylene polymer composition. The biaxially stretched films are prepared from the semicrystalline propylene polymer composition. The method of determine the characteristics of the semicrystalline propylene polymer composition is provided.
