PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a finishing coating composition which does not cause plasticizer migration and consequent softening of the surface of the coating film when used in coating a polyvinyl chloride sheet or a polyvinyl chloride/metal laminate by using a specified polyurethane resin and a specified alkyl silicate. ;SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by mixing 100 pts.wt. (in terms of the solid matter) polyol having a weight-average molecular weight of 5,000-80,000 and a hydroxyl value of 20-150 KOH mg/g with 0.1-20 pts.wt. alkoxysilane compound having an ethylene oxide chain composed of 2-40 repeating units and a weight-average molecular weight of 150-3,500, 1-40 pts.wt. condensate made from an alkyl silicate represented by the general formula: Si(OR₂)(OR₂)(OR₃) (OR₄)(wherein R₁ to R₄ are each a 1-3 C alkyl) and having a degree of condensation of 2-20, and a polyisocyanate in such an amount as to give a ratio of the NCO groups to the OH groups of the above polyisocyanate of 0.6-1.5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
