PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an anvil of a good life span by performing an aging thermal treatment at a specific temperature boundary after whole of the anvil is formed integrally with a γ' deposition reinforced type Ni group alloy or after a Ni group alloy made base metal is overlaid with the γ' deposition reinforced type Ni group alloy. ;SOLUTION: An anvil for fast four faces forging device is manufactured by performing an aging thermal treatment at 700-900°C after whole of the anvil is formed integrally with a γ' deposition reinforced type Ni group alloy or after a Ni group alloy made base metal is overlaid with the γ' deposition reinforced type Ni group alloy. The γ' deposition reinforced type Ni group alloys 2, 3 contain one kind or more than two kinds of Al, Ti, Nb and Ta. Total of Al+Ti+Nb+Ta is set to be 3 wt.% or more, preferably 4 wt.% or more and, 5 wt.% or more is furthermore preferable. Thereby, the anvil having an increased abrasion resistance, a heat check property resistance and the like can be obtained.
