PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a sufficient fitting feeling to a container user when a lid is fitted on the container main body, and make the lid extremely hard to remove from the container main body in spite of being freely detachable. ;SOLUTION: This container is constituted in such a manner that to an engaging protruberance 10 being formed on an upper edge back part 4 of a container main body 3a, a peripheral edge part 14 being formed on the back part of a lid 6a, can be pivotally fitted. When the lid is pivotally fitted on the container main body, a tapered protuberance 16 being formed on the peripheral part of the lid, slides on the upper edge part 12 of the container main body, and as soon as a lower protruding part 15 being formed on the lid gets over the upper edge part of the container main body, the lower protruding part of the lid is engaged with the lower end of the upper edge part of the container main body, and the lid can be fitted on the container main body.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
