PURPOSE: To improve constructing performance and prevent damage by disposing flexible gravity material such as chain on a sheet body, close to the specific gravity of water so as to be hard to sink, at constant spaces so as to be uniform in load over the whole surface. ;CONSTITUTION: Gravity material 2 such as chain is disposed on a sheet body 1, formed of rubber, synthetic fiber, or the like, at constant spaces over the whole surface to form a sheet 3. The sheet 3 in the state of being wound in roll shape to a winding means 5 such as a steel pipe is conveyed into a laying site. An end part locking member 6 is connected to the end part of the sheet 3, and hanging hooks 7 are fitted to both ends of the winding means 5 so as to lower the winding means 5 onto the top end part of a caisson mound 8 using a crane or the like. The sheet 3 is put in the state of being locked to the mound 8 by the weight and the like of the locking member 6, and the rolled sheet 3 is unwound while being put in rolling motion for laying. After laying, the winding means 5 is pulled up. The sheet 3 can be thereby laid correctly and efficiently along the laying face, and the sheet 3 can be prevented from being damaged by sediment throwing impact force and the like after laying.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
