PURPOSE: To provide a set ultrasonic transceiver device of mutual danger recognition type capable of mutually recognizing a danger between master and slave stations. ;CONSTITUTION: A master station 3 has a transmission sensor 31 for transmitting the first ultrasonic wave in such state as covering a dangerous zone, a receiving sensor 32 for receiving the second ultrasonic wave having a frequency different from the first frequency, and a control circuit 33. On the other hand, a slave station 4 has a receiving sensor 41 for receiving the first ultrasonic wave from the master station 3, a transmission sensor 42 for transmitting the second ultrasonic wave, and a response circuit 43 for causing the second transmission sensor to transmit the second ultrasonic wave, upon receipt of the first ultrasonic wave. Also, when the control circuit 33 of the master station 3 recognizes whether slave station 4 is in the dangerous zone from a time difference from the first ultrasonic wave transmission to the receipt of the second ultrasonic wave, the third ultrasonic wave is transmitted, thereby recognizing that the slave station 4 is in the dangerous zone.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
