PURPOSE: To provide the integrity evaluating method of a casting capable of clearly determining the position and size of a defect, obviously visualizing the connecting state of the defect portion, and evaluating the airtightness by pressing a colorant into the defect portion to directly dye it. ;CONSTITUTION: The test face of a casting 1 is coated with a colorant 2, and a coated face is covered with a sheet to keep the covered portion airtight.
