PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intestinal disorder or constipation-ameliorative food capable of solving such problems that amelioration of constipation by medicines such as a purgative and the like is liable to cause only a simple loose bowels and thereby excrement goes into a liquid state with strong odd smell, and that intake of only an aloe squeezed juice results in a similar condition to that caused by taking the purgative, due to aloin (barbaloin) ingredient. SOLUTION: This intestinal disorder or constipation-ameliorative food enables that simultaneous intake of an aloe and chitosan brings the following effects: the purgative action of aloe dissolves constipation and the action of chitosan controls the water content of excrement so that toxic substances in the excrement are adsorbed by the action of amino group.
