PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed wiring board which has a flame-retardant resin, a flame-retardant resin composition and a cured film thereof that are made from a halogen-free material and are used for an interlayer insulating layer or the like in a multilayered printed wiring board. ;SOLUTION: This invention relates to a flame-retardant novolac-type epoxy resin having a triazine structure in the molecule; a flame-retardant thermosetting resin composition containing the above resin, other epoxy resins, an epoxy resin-curing compound (a hardener) or another composition further containing an inorganic hydrate; a printed wiring board having the cured film thereof; and a multilayered printed wiring board.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
