PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prestress introducing device facilitating its handling and accelerating the introducing work and a prestress introducing method to a concrete structural body. ;SOLUTION: A plastic deforming means plastically deforming a spacer 5 is provided in the spacer 5 inserted between a rod-like member 4 and a holding member 10. The deforming speed of the spacer 5 can be set to the speed suitable to release the compression of the rod-like member 4 by properly setting the hardness and size of the spacer 5, and the compressed state of the rod-like member 4 can be automatically released in a proper time. The handling of the prestress introducing device 1 is facilitated, and the prestress introducing work to the concrete structural body can be quickly conducted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
