PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ventilate under a floor by forming a groundsill cover from an inner cover and an outer cover and providing an air passage communicating with an underfloor space, from the outside, between the inner cover and the outer cover. ;SOLUTION: A groundsill cover 1 for covering a piece-shaped groundsill D on a continuous footing B from a shell-shaped inner cover 10 and a shell- shaped outer cover 20. And an air passage 2, which communicates with an underfloor space from the outside, is formed between the cover 10 and the cover 20, and a fireproofing board 3 is mounted to the inside of the covers 10, 20. Further, an end cover 5 is mounted to an end of the cover 1 and a metal screen 6 is mounted to an opening of the passage 2 to prevent small animals from getting into under a floor from the passage 2, and the cover 10 is mounted onto the footing B to attach the cover 20 to a mount part 4.
