PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an execution method for a sight line guiding plate attached inside a tunnel, which is comparatively low in height and can secure the effective width of the tunnel and is inexpensive in an execution cost, and a mounting bracket for a square plate material usable for the guiding plate. SOLUTION: An execution method is composed of a first process for attaching a flat plate part 15 provided with an attaching hole 14; a folding back holding part 16 having an inserting part 17 to loosely fit the end of a sight line guiding plate 10; and a mounting bracket 13 having an inclined part 18 protruding toward one side of the inserting part 17 to the side wall of the tunnel with a distance provided so as to enable the upper and lower ends of the plate 10 to fit into the inserting part 17, and a second process for inserting the upper and lower ends of the plate 10 into the inserting part 17 of the upper and lower mounting bracket 13 and temporally fixing them to the side wall of the tunnel, and a third process for adjusting the vertical position of the mounting bracket 13 to severally abut the upper and lower corners of the plate 10 on the inclined part 18. The attaching hole 14 for the mounting bracket 13 is longitudinally formed.
