BASEMENT CAISSON CONSTRUCTING METHOD, CAISSON FOR BASEMENT, AND CAISSON GUIDING MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a basement caisson constructing method which can prevent horizontal movement of a caisson when the caisson is settled in the ground, and to provide the caisson for a basement, and a caisson guiding member for use in the method. SOLUTION: The basement caisson constructing method is carried out by setting a lower portion or the entire of the caisson 1 forming a peripheral wall skeleton of the basement, on a plot for constructing the basement, and excavating the ground below the caisson 1 in a required range. According to the method, a vertical peripheral surface 8 is formed beforehand over a predetermined height from a lower edge of the caisson 1, and the peripheral surface 8 of the caisson 1 is received by the guide member 13 arranged in the plot for constructing the basement. As a result, the caisson 1 is settled in the ground while the horizontal movement of the caisson 1 is restrained.
