PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize many existing avatars and their operation displays and also to easily construct a multi-person participating type video conference system.;SOLUTION: An attribute showing a realizing method of animation and animation application conditions on the basis of the relative position with other avatars are set for every part (node) such as the head, hand and leg of a human type avatar representing each user in an avatar attribute definition table 15. An avatar information controlling part 14 refers to the table 15 and updates an avatar information table 17 storing the position and direction information of each node where a gesture instruction, so that a motion instruction and the video data of the user from motion input devices 9a and 9b should be reflected on the avatar in real time.
