PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent capable of efficiently adsorbing and removing the TGF-β in humor and a method for removing the TGF-β in the humor with the adsorbent.;SOLUTION: A compound having the log P (P is a distribution coefficient in an octanol-water system) value of 2.50 or above is fixed to a water-insoluble carrier to obtain the adsorbent for the TGF-β. The TGF-β in the humor can be efficiently adsorbed and removed by bringing the body fluid into contact with the adsorbent for the TGF-β.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
