PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which enables a feeding chain to execute precise feeding operations within a specified range of operational positions even after the device is operated for a long period of time. ;SOLUTION: The device (10) for filling bottles and other containers, for instance, with dairy products has at least one feeding chain (19) formed as a hinged chain for being guided in an endless circulation, and the feeding chain supports a cell plate (41) having container housing parts (A). In order to put the container housing parts (A) in arrangement precisely at specified working positions regardless of changes in the length of the feeding chain (19), a measurement gear (49) meshed with the feeding chain (19) is attached at least to one working position with a shifting cam (60) of an electric initiation device (62) generating cut-off signals connected thereto, the cut-off signal woks on a signal generating unit, and the signal generating unit incrementally controls a servomotor driving the feeding chain (19).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
