PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to cut off water in a shaft arrival opening by allowing a shield excavator to penetrate slidingly while keeping the adherence of the foam urethane layer poured into a space formed of a ring-shaped frame body provided to the circumferential part in front of the shield excavator. ;SOLUTION: Foam urethane provided with expansibility, elasticity and adhesive efficiency is sprayed on the inside circumference 21 of a wall in an arrival opening formed by excavating the face to form a foam urethane layer 22 in the arrival opening. A filling space 35 formed of a frame body 24 constituted in the shape of a ring is filled with 16 units to form a foam urethane layer 23 in an excavator. Cut-off efficiency in the arrival opening 15 can be economically and easily ensured by driving forward and sliding the shield excavator 12 again.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
